Taking Care of the Birds

©Jane Chesebrough

You can see how much snow we got 2 nights ago by the top of the bird feeder.Been shoveling and still not sure if  I can get out of the garage because there is no space to pile the snow on one side except over the fence. And that is the side where my car is parked and where I have to back out. Then I have to see if I can get down the alley, the snow is deep for my little car. Where’s that Hummer when you need it? Ha Ha.. I made sure I filled the feeder for the birds because the temperature is dropping and it is hard for them to find food. They have eaten half  so I am happy to be able to feed them.

Here’s what I managed to do so far:

It could be worse, like those photos that come in my emails. Just wish that I had kept in better shape.Enough whining, better get busy.

I like the layout of the picture Jane. Snow shoveling is tough. I am glad we have light snow usually. Down east it’s very wet and heavy.

    • Yes I was saying to the person whom I was helping that it was good that it wasn’t wet like in Ontario. I grew up there. Jane
