Spring has Arrived

I am so happy to hear the song birds and to see the leaves coming out of the buds. Every chance I get I head outdoors to walk in the woods. We are so blessed to be in a city that has a river rich with wildlife weaving through our city and to be  close to Elk Island National Park  where I can see bison, lots of birds and elk (although they are harder to find-you have to hike into back country. A sure sign of spring is the birth of calves.I was lucky to get up early one morning and catch a shot of this cow bison and her young calf crossing the road a couple of weeks ago.
