Chinese New Year – Year of the Dragon

©Jane Chesebrough

Welcome to the year of the Dragon.Gong Xi Fa Cha! According to Chinese astrology, people born on the year of the dragon are said to be strong, self-assured, eccentric, intellectual, and passionate. I took this photo when I went to the Ice on Whyte festival and this creature was at the main gate. It was shot looking into the light and has a metallic look to it. I haven’t been out shooting and am missing it. Feeling much better have loosened up the muscles that looked like cords on my neck a few days ago. During this time I read Keith Richard’s book “Life” and found it to be a good read but it is time to get back to reality and get back to work tomorrow and go to my first physiotherapy session.
