A Beautiful Spring Day

©Jane Chesebrough

This is how it looked just one day ago but already melting away. It was very overcast  today so hard to get a good shot  as I was hand-holding my camera and everything blurred due to slow shutter-speed and camera shake. Frankly I haven’t downloaded my pictures from today yet . But…I heard my first robin and saw my first  flock of gulls and am seeing the geese regularly – now that is a sign of spring!

  1. We have had an unbelievable warm winter in Ohio this year (although we’re having a cold snap tonight). However when I was reading about how you heard the robin’s song, it made me think about how that used to be a sign of spring here, too, but not anymore. I was inspired to describe what’s going on with our robins in a post of my own, Ohio’s Overwintering Robins.

  2. This snow path in the woods is beautiful. It has heavy similarity with that which is here in Finland where I live.
