White white white

That ‘s what I awoke to-a world of everything covered in white, with big fat flakes of snow falling so fast that wiping off the car was a game of catch-up. I only had a few minutes to brush off the four inches and get to work. That proved to be an exercise in cooperation as intersections with lights were turned into four-way stops. The snow was so heavy that it knocked the power out. The weather people are calling for only  5 more centimetres. originally the forecast was for another 20 centimeters.

You had to see it. It is melting already and I have no pictures.

I can imagine! We have had a very mild year, but am familiar with spring snow. One good thing about it — it is good for making snow people.

  2. I’d prefer not to get snow after winter is officially over, but photos of flowers with snows on them can be quite striking.

    • Yes, I agree, but that is part of being in Alberta. We can get snow in August, though it is rare.. Wait til you see my mountain shots-lots of snow at the higher elevations 🙂

  3. Wow this sounds like the storm we had back east here in Pa in October. 14 inches in about 6-8 hours. It was coming down fast and furious!
