Cedar Waxwing

I always enjoy seeing the smaller Cedar Waxwing in the summer and happy that they like the mosquitoes and bugs so much-good birds! This year their numbers seem more plentiful and there are numerous opportunities to take a shot of them. That is a good thing  because they move fast! I took a few  pictures at the local pond with the new lens and seem to get a bit  sharper detail. This is the best of the lot.

  1. Beautiful Jane! I have always thought the cedar waxwing was a pretty, contrasting bird, but have never been lucky to see one. Happy shooting with the new lens!! 🙂

I hardly ever see this bird, but when I do it’s such a treat. This is such a pretty photo.
