A Pleasant Walk

I was busy today writing applications on-line as well as downloading my resume which I admit is somewhat frustrating and it took most of the  day. Was stiff and tired after sitting so long and went for a walk in the park. B-r-r-r! The temperature has dropped. Minus 10 celsius. I figured the eagle had gone because the water is frozen over but as I was heading back to the car I think I saw it fly over, no proof as I had already put my camera in a bag to prevent condensation.

But i did see a downy woodpecker and a few chickadees which always gives me pleasure. oh was the light ever dull! We are getting just over 8 hours of daylight and with my mood affected by lack of light, I better get out side more often and  earlier. It will make the computer work more bearable.

And here is a bird of a different kind, probably has spikes in his tires for winter riding-mine’s in the closet for the rest of the season.A lot of students ride all year-got to hand it to them.

And one more taken earlier this week just after the snow fell.

    • That is good but be sure to grab a blanket and a warm cup of cocoa to keep the chill away.

      • Or a pair of skis. One reason why I actually like winters!

  3. You are right and the ski trails are groomed perfectly right now. Maybe it is time to check out the knee. Gently. Then have the hot chocolate and browse through the photos.
