Getting Ripped off by the Phone Company
I was always happy with koodo before. I could count on getting no extra charges and getting a bill for the month. Because I started a job in home care as a Health Care Aid , and need a cell phone for work, I upgraded to the 600 minute plan on July 12 that cost $35 and I just got my first bill on August 15 for $161.00! This is due to the first and last month’s rent and 100 dollars for local air time. The latter was a total surprise to me. On one call alone I talked locally for a half hour and it cost me $11-for one call! TOTALLY unacceptable. I am cancelling my account and will go back to the land line. Did Telus buy Koodo? because this sounds like Telus behaviour.I am not impressed with customer service when I have to come to forums on-line to ask questions or pay a generous fee for phoning the company rather than doing it for myself on-line.There is definitely a trend and it has been some time now, of having to do the work for the staff and paying for the privilege. Phone companies, utilities, banks. I am hanging up on this “deal.”
When you are done talking to your phone company and you are in a real mood I want you to speak to my cable company. I have never been able to convey to them how much I dislike how they treat their customers.
