Usually I discard these but found I was liking them for one reason or another, usually the blur of motion because rarely are any of them in focus.

  1. I liked the pileated woodpecker the best. I got a blurry photo of the white hummingbird taking off; I kind of liked it despite the bluriness.

    • The sound of their wings at they fly over head is something to experience: a deep wou wou brush of air.

    I like the last two pictures, the branches are in focus and clear with the birds blurred, great motion shots.

  3. The second from last I thought the bird was flying right at me, it looked me right in the eye before take-off.

  4. Those little chickadees are hard to capture in flight. They are very fast on the wing. I too like the last two the best.

    • Thanks for your comments about what you like the best. Maybe I will have to try this on a bright day with high shutter speed.
