A Classy Lady
Was out and about today with balmy temperatures after freezing rain last night .I took part in the annual Christmas bird count until I got too tired but put in a good effort. It was great to be outdoors in the sun after heavily overcast days that lasted a week.Lots of magpies, ravens and a few black-capped chickadees and even a couple of Rose crowned kinglets.I rested then went back out for a walk and saw this inspiring lady that someone put a lot of effort into. Well done, I say.
That is cute. Our snow won’t pack. I tried a snowman today with our snow.

Thank you, I wouldn’t mind some more dry stuff, which is what we usually get here. It is so wet that my car has become stuck 3 times in the past two days, that little shovel that I keep in the trunk has been a good investment. They haven’t plowed the back lanes and my car is low and scraping bottom between the ruts. So I wish you a LITTLE more moisture, just right for packing.

Thanks, could use packing snow. I drive a Jeep so I don’t get stuck luckily. On Wednesday Walks, you will see our blizzard. It was bright and sunny when I started out and 33 miles later the the snow let loose.

Even though blizzards are dangerous, they are beautiful after ward – look forward to seeing your photos and stay safe!
