Resting

I thought that I would try for a different view of a horse, so got down as low as I could with my arthritic knees and went for this point of view. I used to ride a lot and though it may take a lot of yoga classes to regain my flexibility , I may get get back on a horse again. It felt good to just be around them.

  1. Yes I agree with you, often being around them is enough to soothe and heal.

    • Agree, the same with nature in general. Thank you for commenting.

  2. I have arthritis in my knees, too. For a long time I’ve been taking glucosamine and fish oil in the belief that that helps. However while we were doing all of this technical stuff with our new website, I wasn’t walking or hiking or doing much of anything at all… just sitting there in front of a computer. And to my amazement my legs started feeling achy…. sort of the way you might feel achy when you are coming down with the flu. Then the pain got more defined, and it was definitely coming from my arthritic knees. So now I half-believe that it’s all the walking that I do that keeps them from hurting. I’m not quite sure why that would be, but it seems to be the case.

    • I agree, and so does my doctor. Exercise keeps us going.
