Birding Heaven

Had a brief but refreshing respite from the city and enjoyed the company of a friend as we went on a photo-shooting and birding binge. Here are some of the things that we found in Central Alberta on our first rainy day.

    • i don’t know what happened, it didn’t show up But now it does after three tries. Huh, maybe I hit my limit.

    • OK there it is. I really like the image of the Cedar Waxwing. There is just something about that bird that is so interesting to see. I usually see them in flocks.

      • I have seen a few of them this year, first year out of a few, almost always singly lately, probably because they are nesting.
