Fledged Sora

While visiting a wetland boardwalk in St Albert, of course I was looking for Soras, but got a few peeks at a young one. It was wary but curious, too. It would run, which was orgininally what caught my attention, then hide, but back up to take a peek. There were a few fuffly feathers and no colour to its bill. That and its behaviour led me to believe that it is a young one.

It walked through the open spaces so I got a couple of looks at it.
