Out and About on a Field Trip in Near-Blizzard Conditions
Here I was, early in the morning when the weather report called for an all-day snow with high winds, driving down the highway, sometimes in total white-out conditions, thinking I was crazy. All this for an outing with the photo club. I was in good company as a few other crazy people showed up and we trekked around with cameras and tripods to mostly heated buildings through foot-deep snow. We went to the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village about an hour east of Edmonton and it was beautiful but I admit that worrying about whether I would get out of the parking lot and back home did occupy my mind. I did make it there and back safely and got some shots of the buildings as well as the drifts, the latter of which I will share with you tomorrow. 🙂
Great you guys made it back safe. Beautiful photo

I guess this is an old wagon masters shop. I bet this was a neat place to snoop around! Looks a little bit drafty though!

Yes, we had the doors open to let the light in. And oh, what a place to explore. Art stores and hardware stores and places like this are hard to resist-thanks for visiting
